Being a good manager of people and projects requires a multitude of skills which take time to acquire and develop. I believe that being the best at what I do requires awareness of which skills still require development or in some cases acquisition. Simply put, being the best and having the awareness to develop starts with listening. It takes patience and restraint listening to day to day issues, absorbing all of the information and making sound decisions for the benefit of the team and company. I believe strongly that my listening skills and willingness to adapt for the greater good are what set me apart from the crowd.

At the end of January 2018, during the MetroPCS Flooring Project, Royal was faced with a significant moisture issue at a high profile location in Fort Worth TX. I sought the expertise of the moisture testing team, abatement team, landlord, flooring manufacturer's installation specialist, & sales specialists for the moisture barrier. We were able to gather all of the facts and evaluate the entire situation and present Metro with the option to upgrade the floor replacement to ceramic tile. Due to this change in scope we were able to raise the cost of the project, and offer a convincing long term solution to the client. It was apparent Metro was pleased with Royal's ability to problem solve and look at the big picture for a mutually beneficial solution.
